Lions Club Karlskrona was established in 1954 and consists of 30 members in 2023. We have our own clubhouse as picture above. Our area is Karlskrona municipal, but Lions is an non political charity working around the world.

 What we do? 

• We arrange Karlskrona St Lucia celebration since 1965. 

• Collaboration with Lyckeå FF (football club)Involved with a project in Tanzania. 

• Help arrange so that clowns visiting hospitals are able to spend more days at the hospitals.

•  Arrange folklore singing for elderly people at retirement homes, in collaboration with Vuxenskolan. 

• We brighten the days for many fellow Community members – young and old alike. ” Make a wish Day” for people in need. 

• Toys and stuffed animals for hospitalized children. 

• Contributions to child cancer research, child diabetes, 

• Global Relief funds – Ukraine, women’s shelter etc. 

• Funds for other important research. 

• Collect glasses for needing people all around the world. 

• Organises get-together for otherwise lonely elderly people. 

• Environmental awareness days for schoolchildren. 

All activities are with volonteers and everything we gather and collect goes directly to our charitable. One a yearly basis we collect around 400.000 kr.
